Dana Bowman, LPC-S, LSATP, CCTP
Executive Director, Therapist
Dana, a Licensed Professional Counselor & Supervisor, Licensed Addiction Treatment Practitioner and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, earned her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from James Madison University and Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University. Dana has 30 years’ experience in the field, providing both administrative and clinical services including foster care, supervision, community-based services and therapy. As a Therapist Dana works with adolescents, adults, couples and families, treating substance use and co-occurring disorders. Dana received training through the ASAM Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). She draws on a variety of techniques including cognitive behavioral, solution focused, narrative, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Dana is a long-time resident of Winchester, Virginia and lives with her husband and two Labradoodles. Dana enjoys traveling, cooking, and time with family.

Clinical Director
James, a Licensed Professional Counselor & Supervisor, Licensed Addiction Treatment Practitioner and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from the State University Of New York College At Fredonia and Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University. James has 30+ years’ experience as Clinical Administrator for residential treatment facilities, Therapeutic Foster Care Worker, Clinical Director for outpatient and community-based services, and Therapist.
As a Therapist, James has worked with children, adolescents, couples and families, treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.
James received training through the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). James lives in Winchester, VA with his wife and dogs. James enjoys the outdoors, golfing, traveling, spending time with family and is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills.
